  • Congrats Marco! Italy deserved more than France as they played for the goal on the extra time while France was just there on defence.

    I was for Italy as France did, once again, earn the match against Portugal with a very dubious penalty.

    As for Zidane, I feel sorry for the guy... a great player but nothing justifies his attitude.

  • @ediana: Don't know if you are a football player, but while you are playing soccer there are a lot of time where you are insulted in every possible language. The real player must never reply to insults and this is more true for a professional players like Zidane.

    @carlos: Even the first penalty in Italy vs France was very dubious in my opinion...

    mm materazzi got guilty too for insulting.

    y true zidane musn't have replied, but why it is that italian player are insulting all the time ? normal behviour ?
    and i've seen many italian site that want mazeratti banned from football. just watch video on youtube.
    insults shouldn't be normal. that the fact that it's normal that is not normal.. it gives bad image of sport.

    fifa should clean football

    nevertheless france should have won, they were much better, especially second half.

    why is that you have to make xenophobic comments ?

    nobody said nothing about italians about the loose. contrary to some itlian deputies from forza italia that made some insulting stuff even after wining...
    pathetic.

    and yes fifa should evolves because what we saw during the world cup was ridiculious, and it had nothing to do with italy or france.: the so many mistakes from referees, simultion from portugese or italians that fell on their own ect...

    i don't care about football, i only watch every 4 years, like the olympic games.
    and like many of friends, watching some games, we were a bit disapointed by the way this sport is done.

  • @dazz: You are right, Fifa should clean football. But what I found really ridicoulous is that now Zidane seems the victim and Materazzi the predator. Even Zizane insults other players (have you seens France vs. Portugal for example?).. this is soccer, what is not normal is that now Zidane have so many excusings for his crazy gesture.
