Lesson learned...

First lesson learned from this blog:
If you have a new application in mind, don't post details about it, don't even post beta/alpha screenshots about it.
Just work on it silently and speak about it only to your girlfriend or wife ... or someone, a day, could steal your idea and make it his own.

This is not good.

These days...

This photo was taken while I was preparing a joke during a friend's wedding.

This is a strange period in my life, I am waiting for a business proposal and in the meantime I finished developing the new version of the REAL SQL Server and a couple of other things. Now I must absolutely try to find out the time to finish SQLite3ProPlugin 2.0 and SQLiteConverter.

I am also doing a lot of sport ... I am running, I am playing soccer and I am boxing. Yes, boxe!

If the business proposal I am waiting doesn't bring me to something good that I plan to make big changes in my life.
It is the right time now...

New office, now in beta version :-)

The new office is almost finished, we need to wait for a new 20Mbit ADSL line and for some more furniture...

I have posted a new photo gallery...

Things are going well, so next time you come in Italy you have to visit me and my new office ;-)

New Office!

So, at the end it seems we have found a really great new office.
Now we need to clean it and purchase furnitures but we are now ready to start.

This is a photo gallery...
We hope to be ready with the new office by the end of September.

Now the hardest part...

I am not sure to be able to describe my creative process ... sometimes I have an idea for a new software, sometimes I think it is not good or it is just too difficult to develop ... sometimes some months after I first discarded the original idea it brings back to me, this time with a new energy. This is exactly what is happened with "project grow":

The hardest part is the first one, "planning". If the planning is good than the development is fast and clear, not easy this is sure but you can always see the light at the end of the tunnel (and this is very important when you have to develop a big project from scratch).

In the morning I purchased new pens, new books, new papers ... everything physics, not bit or bytes, not a PDA or a project management application, just the old way to plan things, with stencils and papers. I find this to be the best way to completely concentrate myself on a new project.
