Running

I am running a lot during these months, every day I try to run at least 5km (about 3.1 miles).
Today I have run more than 12km (about 7.5 miles).
Tomorrow I'll try to run 22km (about 13.7 miles), it is half a marathon.

While I am running I think a lot about what I am doing, how I can do it better or what I could do.
While I am running I can really hear my body, my heart, my muscles. It is an incredible sensation.
The more I run the more I feel better with myself.

I work with bits but I live with atoms.
I have invested so much time in bits during my life that I am just investing a bit more in atoms now.
That's all.

It Cannot Be Done

A Chinese proverb said: "The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it."

I really like this post. This is exactly what I am doing with my next super secret project grow.

SQLite and full-text search

I am finishing the new version of SQLite3ProfessionalPlugin.
Version 2.0 will be universal binary and it will supports the RB API.

The bad news is that I decided to drop support for PEF builds and for RB 5.5 or lower. The main reason behind this decision is that I want to stay always up-to-date with the latest sqlite library and the PEF built doesn't allow me to always stay in sync with the official distribution.

The good news is that version 2.0 will be a free upgrade to all the 1.x registered users and it will have full-text search capabilities built-in using the new FTS1 module.

I plan also to add full-text search capability to the new SQLiteManager 2.5.
Stay tuned for future news...

Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish.

I have taken a lot of fearless decisions in my life, sometimes fearless meant unconscious but I always had something inside my heart that forced me to take some decisions and some directions.

I am sure that I am connecting the dots right now and there will be a time in my life where I'll look backward and I'll can connect all of them.

Steve Jobs said: "... Again, you can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life..." from Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish.

I am a dreamer this is sure but I really trust in something.
This is me, no less, no more.

My soccer team

I am a little "hidden" (thanks anonymous) in this photo but I arrived just one second before the photo was taken...
